Speaker A:

Welcome to the Mind of my Creative business podcast.

Speaker A:

The number one podcast for creative entrepreneurs to learn strategy, structure and self development.

Speaker A:

I am your co host, Ron ironically.

Speaker B:

Jr. And I am your co host, Shy Speaks.

Speaker B:

And this is about to be good.

Speaker B:

It's gonna be good because it's just you and I hanging out.

Speaker B:

Yes, yes, we're hanging out.

Speaker B:

Like in season seven though.

Speaker A:

Season seven.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

And so we're just gonna make this a very, very candid episode where we wanna be Honest.

Speaker B:

Be truthful about where we are.

Speaker B:

And speaking of where we are, let's talk about the fact that it's been seven seasons.

Speaker B:

We've taken this podcast on the road to different locations.

Speaker B:

The last season we.

Speaker B:

In season six, we were in Chicago and.

Speaker B:

And right now where we are is in Dallas.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Your hometown, Dallas.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

The big D. We are down here in honor of FIFA.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So we're down here being able to partake in some of those festivities and whatnot.

Speaker A:

So that's been cool.

Speaker A:

This is actually our third season in Dallas.

Speaker B:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B:

Really?

Speaker A:

This is our third season in Dallas.

Speaker B:

Okay, cool, cool.

Speaker B:

Well, I don't know.

Speaker B:

That first one, that was kind of like a.

Speaker B:

That was a. Oh, no, we just did a little bit.

Speaker B:

We didn't do the whole thing.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we did.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we half in Dallas and then.

Speaker A:

Yeah, so this is two and a half times.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

So that was when we was first toying with the idea of if we were going to go officially in person.

Speaker B:

Correct.

Speaker B:

To have those in person conversations with our guests.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So now we are.

Speaker B:

I mean, you said FIFA, but let's talk about FIFA.

Speaker B:

The World cup is in the United States.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

And there's only 16 cities they get to host, and Dallas is one of them.

Speaker B:

And where we are in our business.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So Minded, my creative business is a media company.

Speaker B:

That's what it really is by llc Minded, my creative business media.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

And with that, we have decided to, like, we don't want our podcast to be the only media that we produce.

Speaker B:

We want to be able to be media at actual events like FIFA World cup, like other conferences, like other festivals, or we can pull up and actually engage with other creative entrepreneurs there and document some of that stuff.

Speaker B:

And also not even just engage with them from a media perspective, even like teaching a bit.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

Because we do a bit of teaching in the MMCB media.

Speaker B:

Like, some of our media is course material and all that kind of stuff.

Speaker B:

So multimedia is what we really mean.

Speaker B:

And like, you want to talk about what we're doing?

Speaker B:

Teaching.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So we're going to be here.

Speaker A:

We're partnered with FIFA to do Creators Academy.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So we're going to have a group of young people, two days, and we're going to be doing a workshop where we're going to be teaching them how they can utilize their creative gifts into multimedia and create an agency.

Speaker A:

Yeah, Right.

Speaker A:

So we're going to.

Speaker A:

It's a.

Speaker A:

It's a workshop where we're literally are having them create their agency on the Spot and having them think through things that the typical creative necessarily wouldn't understand.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

From a creative standpoint.

Speaker A:

But no, we're showing you the business once again, minding your creative business.

Speaker A:

And how can you now not just show up as a photographer or videographer, but show up as an agency that provides not just an asset, but you're providing full on service ultimately like kind.

Speaker B:

Of what we're talking about.

Speaker B:

So I guess if we had to give this particular episode.

Speaker B:

This is Seed Seed season seven where we are.

Speaker B:

That's actually where we are.

Speaker B:

We are in a place where we, we're a media company.

Speaker B:

We're literally here.

Speaker B:

And you know, with FIFA as like we have a media credential.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

And so we've had media credential at other event as well.

Speaker B:

Events as well.

Speaker B:

But this time we're like, oh, we're not just there kind of getting the, as the, the, the like you said, the video getting the behind the scenes kind of showing what it's like interacting with them from that perspective.

Speaker B:

Them as in the creative entrepreneurs who going to be teaching a group of creative entrepreneurs how to do what we're doing.

Speaker B:

And that's no.

Speaker A:

And that's been dope like I said, because once again we started one one way and then it's been able to branch and grow and it's still evolving.

Speaker A:

And that's I think part of the, the ride of creative entrepreneurship that a lot of people don't talk about.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And we try to go behind the brands and we've heard these people's stories and they tell you that, okay, I started here and then I, I ended up here and this is that journey.

Speaker A:

But now we're kind of sharing our journey and sharing our story where it's like.

Speaker A:

And we're going to talk about collaboration later but still like where we started, like me and Shai, we met online through a mutual friend years ago.

Speaker A:

Right, right.

Speaker A:

Then, you know, we, yeah, we met.

Speaker B:

We were maybe became Facebook friends.

Speaker A:

Exactly, Facebook friends.

Speaker A:

But then when we were on our journey trying to evolve and develop and grow, we found ourselves in, in the same community.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

We're in a community, some kind of paid community.

Speaker B:

I can't even remember which community right now.

Speaker B:

Okay, I do remember we were in a group community, but you had to kind of like pay to be a part of it.

Speaker B:

But it was all about growing also as a creative entrepreneur.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

And then from there it was like, okay, let's connect to be like accountability partners to get through the program.

Speaker A:

And then just as we kind of have had those conversations.

Speaker A:

We was like, yo, we should.

Speaker A:

We should do something together.

Speaker B:

Yeah, Right?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And so we, at the time, we were like, we're going to do something.

Speaker B:

We always say we've told this story before and we'll say we were going to do a podcast.

Speaker B:

But ultimately, when we sat down to go file our llc, we did not file for a podcast.

Speaker A:

We did not.

Speaker B:

We actually still.

Speaker B:

Even though it's evolving and you said we are expanding.

Speaker B:

I mean, you said we're evolving.

Speaker B:

We're actually just expanding into the name that we said we would be.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

We knew we didn't want to just produce a podcast.

Speaker B:

We.

Speaker B:

We knew that we wanted to be a media company and provide multiple services, have multiple mediums up under that.

Speaker B:

And so technically, we are just becoming what we set out to be.

Speaker B:

And so now I will say this.

Speaker B:

We are going to.

Speaker B:

Of course, we're here for FIFA.

Speaker B:

So we're going to show those students that we're teaching how to be a media company, but specifically for a sports world.

Speaker B:

Like, if you're getting hired to be a media company like us and they bring you in, what are you going to do?

Speaker B:

And so we're going to teach them some stuff about making sure they get.

Speaker B:

Matter of fact, you just got to be a part of the workshop.

Speaker A:

Right, right, right.

Speaker B:

So now, speaking of where we are, we are here in Dallas.

Speaker B:

We are, while we're here.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Booked to do that.

Speaker B:

Being a part of media, teaching a workshop.

Speaker B:

We want to make sure we did another season.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

This is how this second season came about, because we're here on official media business.

Speaker B:

But while we're here, we might as well interview some creative entrepreneurs.

Speaker B:

And so it's been really cool.

Speaker B:

Speaking of a creative entrepreneur, I want to shout out to the creative entrepreneur whose podcast area.

Speaker B:

Who's this area that we are in?

Speaker B:

We have access to.

Speaker B:

Access to this through a friend.

Speaker B:

And so a friend of mine, which is Mr. Leterius Whitfield.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

We need to give him a round of applause.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

We need to have him on the podcast because he's made an entire business out of.

Speaker B:

I mean, I've always known him to be a business guy.

Speaker B:

I'm being a creative.

Speaker B:

He used to do plays.

Speaker B:

He used to do all kind of stuff.

Speaker B:

He.

Speaker B:

He became a media company, filming.

Speaker B:

He's done so many things.

Speaker B:

And then he.

Speaker B:

He created this podcast and this podcast became a business, and it a book and so forth and so on with your future wifey.

Speaker B:

So, just wanted to shout out him for allowing us to utilize some of his content space for this.

Speaker B:

So, yeah, definitely.

Speaker A:

And that's one thing where what we're doing is taking the time to letting you guys know where we are.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And that's something that we encourage creative entrepreneurs do on a regular basis is like identify where you are.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

It's like being at the mall.

Speaker A:

And I know malls are kind of.

Speaker A:

In some places, malls are kind of becoming extinct.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

But you remember when you go to the mall and you go to the kiosk and it says you are here, right?

Speaker A:

So you gotta identify, like where you are currently and then see, okay, where we're going.

Speaker A:

So like you said, we started off, we had a desire.

Speaker A:

We was like, okay, we're gonna do a podcast.

Speaker A:

However, we know we probably gonna do more than a podcast.

Speaker A:

We probably gonna do media.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

And even that media can be a broad term.

Speaker A:

Media is multifaceted.

Speaker A:

But we was like, okay, cool.

Speaker A:

We gonna say media.

Speaker A:

And so done.

Speaker A:

That allows for us to do more.

Speaker A:

But once we identify that we're here piece and this is where we're going, so now we turn down different places and obstacles and whatnot.

Speaker A:

Because, listen, it's been.

Speaker A:

It's been an interesting ride and an interesting journey.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

You know, we knew we were going to grow into something else.

Speaker A:

So that's one thing that we encourage creative entrepreneurs to do, is know where you're going.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So then you can assess where I'm at and I can see, okay, what's going to be needed in order for us to get there.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

Because once again, we.

Speaker A:

We started in this place and we from.

Speaker A:

From same media, we knew we needed equipment.

Speaker A:

Now, mind you, because I produce, I had some equipment, but on that journey we had to purchase more equipment.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So we went from one or two cameras to like five cameras.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Tripods, lighting.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

All these different elements.

Speaker A:

Because, okay, yes, we're going to do a podcast, but we want to be media.

Speaker A:

So media, there are certain elements that's needed.

Speaker A:

So being able to consistently assess where you are because you're here is going to always change when you're moving in the direction of where you're going.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

I hope you got that.

Speaker B:

I hope you got that.

Speaker B:

I'm just talking to my good bro right here and I'm loving talking about where we are, but that is a good tidbit.

Speaker B:

Like, where am I?

Speaker B:

Where am I going?

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Is the path that I'm going right now gonna get me to where I'M going.

Speaker B:

And so technically we have media credentials at FIFA.

Speaker B:

Okay, let's be clear.

Speaker B:

Okay, let's be clear.

Speaker B:

Okay, let's be clear.

Speaker B:

Come on, man.

Speaker A:

Now that's real though, because a year ago.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that wasn't the case.

Speaker B:

It wasn't.

Speaker B:

You know what I mean?

Speaker B:

Like, there are plenty of people who've been media for quite a while and couldn't get a credential.

Speaker B:

So some kind of way we got a credential.

Speaker B:

And that's actually pretty fire.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I just wanted to ask, like, that's, that's pretty cool.

Speaker B:

And so I'm liking being able to come to places, pull up as media, kind of recap the experience, interact with those creative entrepreneurs.

Speaker B:

I'm loving now this new facet of being able to.

Speaker B:

Because we have a teaching component to mmcb and not, of course it would be media would be courses, but now we can actually do it live, which, you know, that's kind of cool.

Speaker B:

I'm enjoying that.

Speaker B:

So we're all around the education arm, the media arm, and then we're kind of like where we are, as in we're expanding.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Even a more ecosystem.

Speaker B:

But before we talk more about where we are, I just want to kind of get into a little bit about where you are, Ron, you know, the co host himself.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

So as you all may have known, if y' all been, you know, paying attention to following, when we started this, I was not full time in entrepreneurship.

Speaker A:

I was in entrepreneurship, but I had a W2, you know, job.

Speaker A:

I was an employee and was doing this kind of, you know, on the side.

Speaker A:

But since season six.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

I'm now full time entrepreneurship.

Speaker B:

Yeah, right.

Speaker A:

th of:

Speaker A:

So we document that that was my, on my W2 job.

Speaker A:

So now, you know, full time, full steam ahead with, you know, what we doing here and what we building here at mmcb.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So listen, I'm so happy about that.

Speaker B:

My question would be like, if I was like having to put you in the interview.

Speaker A:

Right, right, right.

Speaker B:

My question would be, what is something that is different from being, you know, doing it this way versus when you were.

Speaker B:

People always say, man, go full time entrepreneurship.

Speaker B:

And it's like the difference of what you heard about business and how to approach it versus what you're experiencing so far.

Speaker B:

I mean, I know it's relatively new, but is it consistent what you've been hearing?

Speaker B:

Is it different?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I mean, and that's because everybody's experience is different.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

You got some people that say, you know, kind of kind of build while you still on the job.

Speaker A:

Some people say just kind of, you just gotta just jump out, right.

Speaker A:

So I kind of did both, right.

Speaker A:

I was building it, but when I left, I wasn't as prepared as I could have and should have been, right.

Speaker A:

And that was on me, right.

Speaker A:

I definitely.

Speaker A:

There was a level of comfort that I had.

Speaker A:

So I was, yeah, just kind of resting on my laurels and then.

Speaker A:

But it got to a point where it's like, okay, if I don't do this now, I'm not going to do it because of the level of comfort.

Speaker A:

So I had to, for me, place myself in a position that I was uncomfortable with so that I can do it.

Speaker A:

So it was just like, okay, I'm gonna set the date and I'm gonna do it whether I'm ready or not, right?

Speaker A:

So then when the date got there, I'm not gonna lie, listen, that first week or two, I was like, I need a W2, I gotta get my job back.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

But since then, after I got past that, right, it hasn't been smooth sailing.

Speaker A:

But me internally, like, I've been at ease, I've been calm.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Like the storms is gonna come.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But listen, I gotta just wanna tell you from a person who've done it some years back and being around everybody else, they always be wondering, I gotta give me a double two.

Speaker B:

Everybody be doing that, I'm telling you.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Listen, if you.

Speaker B:

Until you get to the point where you're probably like consistent income like 25k plus and it's consistently for a couple of years and not even just that amount of money, you have to be having high profit margins.

Speaker B:

There's a very prominent creative entrepreneur that I know right now was a millionaire teaching people how to be a creative entrepreneur and burnt out and went out of business, so forth and so on.

Speaker B:

So just because they were making that much in revenue, that didn't mean they were making that much profit.

Speaker B:

And so there are people that are like out here, they're making that much money in revenue.

Speaker B:

But until you get to the point where you're making so much profit, you're going to be saying, yeah, I need a W2, right.

Speaker B:

Most of them are saying, if you actually sat down with a lot of entrepreneurs, creative entrepreneurs, or none, and ask them, do they ever think about just not having to have so much responsibility, Right?

Speaker B:

I have to be legal, marketing, et cetera.

Speaker B:

Even if I'm hiring these other positions, I still have to be over them and lead them.

Speaker B:

So legal marketing, sales, you know, all of the things that I could just go do one role at the company and then make my money.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So I think that's a, that's just a thing that people, people deal with.

Speaker B:

Even, even some people who've had like super success, I feel like they just.

Speaker B:

It's not even about the money.

Speaker B:

I think I remember hearing a young lady, she said that she was doing well, she was making 50k a month, but it was a lot of responsibility and she had to reduce her income.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So that she could go down to like 10k.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

But the 10k would have allowed her to still cover her, her livelihood and her team that does things because she just.

Speaker B:

So you know what I'm trying to say.

Speaker B:

It's like sometimes it's not even about the money.

Speaker B:

So I just want.

Speaker A:

Yeah, no, and it's not about the money.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

It's definitely that, that level of, like I said, it's one thing building something, but it's another thing where it's like, okay, I'm a, I'm a piece of the puzzle, but I'm not like the.

Speaker A:

Yeah, all the responsibility.

Speaker A:

Not on me.

Speaker A:

It's a difference.

Speaker A:

And that definitely, you know, was part of it, like I said, because you know, I've been a part of a team.

Speaker A:

I've helped build a multi million dollar annual budget non profit.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

But being a part of a team is different than building a team and the responsibility is on.

Speaker B:

You're not just an entrepreneur, you are a creative entrepreneur, which means that your world of business works differently, especially when it comes to funding.

Speaker B:

Okay, maybe you're bootstrapping, injecting your own money into your passion or you're searching for investors all too often overlook your unique vision.

Speaker B:

And yeah, you've heard a little bit about business credit, but you don't know exactly where to get started.

Speaker B:

Well, listen, we've got your back.

Speaker B:

We've partnered with Credit Savant to help creative entrepreneurs just like you get access to up to $150,000 in business credit.

Speaker B:

That's right, $150,000 to scale your creative based business into the enterprise that you know that it can be.

Speaker B:

And trust me, they're not just going to throw information at you and send you on your way.

Speaker B:

They're going to walk hand in hand with you to get funded.

Speaker B:

Are you ready to take the next step?

Speaker B:

Well, head over to Credit Savant IO, That's Credit Savant IO and tell them MMCB sent you.

Speaker A:

That's real.

Speaker B:

That's real.

Speaker B:

And, and also you, your past building Something from scratch.

Speaker B:

You had already helped build something.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

A long time ago.

Speaker B:

But now, to be at scratch at this age, there's this age factor that makes us be like, dang, what am I doing?

Speaker B:

Why am I starting from scratch?

Speaker B:

It's like almost having to.

Speaker B:

You got pregnant again at this stage,.

Speaker A:

You know, so it's like, that's exactly what it's like.

Speaker B:

It's not that I don't know how to build something, but I built it well.

Speaker B:

I mean, you and I are a team.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

And so.

Speaker B:

But we have to build it together.

Speaker B:

And it's just very interesting.

Speaker B:

I will say, though, like, we.

Speaker B:

We.

Speaker B:

We've gotten to the point where we.

Speaker B:

We're profitable, we're making income, we're.

Speaker B:

We're.

Speaker B:

We're having opportunities, we're expanding, we're creating more ways to be profitable and to have that consistency and have those higher profit margins.

Speaker B:

Margins are low.

Speaker B:

Very low.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

But we're surviving.

Speaker B:

And one of the things that I wanted to talk about in this, that we didn't get a chance to talk about in this particular episode, because we want to make this one, keep this one a short and concise episode, because we're talking about where we are, you checking in to know where you are, but where we all are, really, whether we're itching for a W2 or just like, no, I'm happy being an entrepreneur.

Speaker B:

I'm happy being a freelancer, I'm happy being a contractor, wherever you feel like you are.

Speaker B:

The economy is just crazy, and AI is crazy.

Speaker B:

And so what I hope to talk about a little bit was some ways to survive that.

Speaker B:

And so we don't have enough time to give them all the tips, but can we give some?

Speaker B:

Just like, if where you are right now is like, I need some survival strategies, let's give them a few survival strategies to help them locate where they are and where they're going.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like you said, you just mentioned AI.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So we know that the.

Speaker A:

The AI industry is.

Speaker A:

Is.

Speaker A:

Is seemingly coming for the creative industry.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

But my thing is, don't necessarily run from AI because it's not going nowhere.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

AI is just like any other technological boom that took place.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So the wise people learned how to use it to their benefit.

Speaker A:

They didn't.

Speaker A:

They didn't do the ostrich thing where they put their head in the sand.

Speaker A:

It's like, no, let me see how I can use this to benefit what it is that I'm doing.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So that's one thing for you to survive.

Speaker A:

It, you have to get a clear understanding of it.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

One of our guests talked about, you know, doing research.

Speaker A:

So like research, understand the tool, understand how to use the tool to your benefit.

Speaker A:

Don't.

Speaker A:

It doesn't have to replace what it is that you're doing, but it should be there to enhance.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So that's definitely one aspect that I'm encouraging.

Speaker A:

Learn how to use the tool.

Speaker B:

Yeah, right.

Speaker B:

Ain't being so, so afraid.

Speaker B:

You might want to try to figure out what's going on.

Speaker B:

That AI may be a part of your survival strategy and like figuring out how to make more income, using it for research and so forth and so on.

Speaker B:

Another thing, if you're trying to survive right now and where you are, I would say is to diversify your revenue streams.

Speaker B:

Your revenue streams.

Speaker B:

It doesn't mean going to do a whole bunch of other different things.

Speaker B:

You can still milk what you have.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So if you have a service or if you have a product in your creative based business and maybe it's premium, you can figure out a way to like, kind of like find something that's mid tier or low tier that you can sell on a regular basis that that creates an income and makes it predictable.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So for example, the car companies, they do it, you know, you got your Lexus and the Lexus is, has a lower model.

Speaker B:

I think it's a Hyundai or Acura, Toyota.

Speaker A:

So Toyota is, Lexus is Toyota.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

And Acura is Hyundai.

Speaker B:

The point is, you see what I'm saying, they figured out a way to serve multiple markets and so maybe are you in a low tier?

Speaker B:

So you understand what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

Or maybe you have something that you can either way go.

Speaker B:

I think the point is if you're going to survive, you're going to have to diversify your income and it'll be wiser to figure out how to diversify from what you already have as opposed to going to go do a whole bunch of other things.

Speaker B:

So that's, that's where you are.

Speaker B:

That's what I would recommend.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Then one other thing that I would, I would suggest in regards to surviving as a creative entrepreneur.

Speaker A:

Creative business is the power of collaboration.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

It's like you don't have to do everything yourself.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

There's other people that you can partner with and collaborate with to provide something greater.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker A:

You know, or just.

Speaker A:

Yeah, provide.

Speaker B:

Listen, even just the help, right.

Speaker B:

Like as in share the expenses with somebody.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So it's like, and when Times are hard economically.

Speaker B:

People go get them a roommate.

Speaker B:

Well, you might want to go get you a roommate, figuratively speaking, in your business, like how can we share some.

Speaker B:

You got a photography space, I got a photography space.

Speaker B:

We both paying rent.

Speaker B:

How can we consolidate this and be one photography space and not be in each other's way?

Speaker B:

You know what I'm trying to say?

Speaker B:

These are the types of things that you might have to do and that, that's just like a extreme example.

Speaker B:

But literally get into partnership and collaborate.

Speaker B:

Because now we're not parent sharing.

Speaker B:

We're not having two separate expenses.

Speaker B:

We're sharing those expenses and a part of our collaboration.

Speaker B:

And why we're able to get to some form of revenue ourselves and get to profit bitterly.

Speaker B:

Because we're.

Speaker B:

We're sharing these expenses.

Speaker B:

That's exactly where we are.

Speaker B:

We're sharing these expenses to bring you this podcast, to bring this media company to you, to bring you the MMCB education arm, to bring you all the other aspects of the ecosystem that we're currently building out for you.

Speaker B:

So I mean, I'm just saying these are some things that you can do right now, no matter where you are, if you're trying to survive.

Speaker B:

And you need a survival strategy.

Speaker B:

Listen, diversify your income.

Speaker B:

Don't be afraid of AI.

Speaker B:

Lean into it.

Speaker B:

Not just to.

Speaker B:

I'll just use it.

Speaker B:

No, still be creative, but maybe it can help you with your revenue stream.

Speaker B:

And then the last one is collaborate.

Speaker B:

And speaking of that, collaborate, overall, we talked about partnership.

Speaker B:

I think we should do an episode where we talk about how to structure a partnership.

Speaker B:

Yeah, because people always say it all the time like collaborate, partner with somebody.

Speaker B:

It's like, hey bro, you trying to share expenses, like that's not how you're going to go about doing that deal.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

You're going to structure a deal.

Speaker B:

So we'll talk to you about how to do a partnership in a creative based business because it looks different.

Speaker B:

Let's get into that.

Speaker B:

Man, I just wanted to.

Speaker B:

Well, not just I.

Speaker B:

We just wanted to check in with you and let you all know that we are in season seven right here in Dallas, FIFA World cup as the media team enjoying some of the best and brightest creative entrepreneurs.

Speaker B:

From here we even have a episode.

Speaker B:

This season is going to be a resource to you.

Speaker B:

Not just another guest interview, like what they do.

Speaker B:

No, this is somebody who you want to hear from because it can tell you how to get that contract that you need so you can diversify the income.

Speaker B:

So this season is going to be phenomenal.

Speaker B:

We want you to be excited about it, but we want to share with you candidly about where we are.

Speaker B:

Listen.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we are.

Speaker B:

That's where we are.

Speaker A:

Exactly, exactly.

Speaker A:

And also we want to encourage you to be a part of the creative to CEO challenge.

Speaker A:

Like Saad was saying, we have created something where we can educate and pour back into our community.

Speaker A:

And that is one way where if you are, you know, struggling to hit those consistent months, joining that challenge in just five days, you're going to go from inconsistent income to predictable income.

Speaker A:

So be a part of that challenge.

Speaker A:

Be a part of the community with other like minded creative entrepreneurs that are on the same journey as you.

Speaker A:

We're going to leave the link somewhere here in this video or in the comment section and click that link and be a part of that.

Speaker A:

And it's less than a hundred dollars.

Speaker B:

Like, yeah, join the next challenge.

Speaker B:

You know what I mean?

Speaker B:

Like, join the next challenge.

Speaker B:

And so we want to do something right now.

Speaker B:

We, we want to know where you are.

Speaker B:

So do me a favor, instead of just saying leave a comment about what we talked about, tell us where you are.

Speaker B:

We want to know where people are who are watching and tuning in to this podcast.

Speaker B:

So leave us a comment because we would love to just kind of, maybe we'll pull up to your city one day, who knows?

Speaker B:

And while you're writing that comment, just go ahead and hit the like button, hit the subscribe button, you know, just, you know, do the things, you know.

Speaker B:

Other than that.

Speaker B:

We just want to thank you for being a part.

Speaker B:

Thank you for tuning in.

Speaker B:

Hopefully you've can use this as a resource to check in on where you are and you're excited as we are about season seven.

Speaker B:

Trust me, it's going to be good.

Speaker A:

So you've heard us talk.

Speaker A:

Now it's time to hear you talk.

Speaker B:

And you have to talk by saying the MMCD mantra that we end with on every single episode.

Speaker B:

And so what we want you to do is repeat after me.

Speaker B:

Everybody in the studio and everybody online.

Speaker B:

Let's say this together.

Speaker B:

All it takes.

Speaker B:

All it takes is intention.

Speaker A:

Is intention.

Speaker B:

Consistency.

Speaker A:

Consistency.

Speaker B:

And laser focus.

Speaker A:

And laser focus.

Speaker B:

To mind my creative business.

Speaker A:

To mind my creative business.

Speaker B:

And on that note, peace.

Speaker B:

We are out.

Speaker B:

It.
